IIM Ranchi Selection Criteria-IIM Ranchi Shortlisting Process

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT RANCHI(IIM-Ranchi) has announced the selection criteria for 2015-17 various MBA programs (Post-graduate Programmes in Management).

Admission to IIM Ranchi will be based on the performance of candidates in the CAT, Personal Interview & Written Ability Test (PI & WAT) and also based on their profile. The PI & WAT process will be common to all the six new IIMs, namely, Ranchi, Rohtak, Raipur, Tiruchirappalli, Udaipur and Kashipur. The cut-off CAT percentiles, weightage for different components and the profile scoring method are given below:

    I belong to NT-2 Category i got 10th-67.97,12th-75.17 and BE(Computer Engg.)-65.considering i can get at least 99%.Currently i am working..i'll be first acquire 3 yrs experience..................then in which IIM i have more chances.

    gender diversity has 5 marks!!
    Also the given cutoffs are irrelevant because I have never seen any general candidate with 90 percentile getting a calls from any IIMs.

    1. Ironically Gender diversity having 5 marks is true. Furthermore every year IIMs keep releasing their minimum criteria as 90, that is funny as well. In reality the actual cutoff is 99+.:

    I scored 56% in 10 ,57% in 12 and 75% In graduation.,,

    I will work hard..can I get selection in any IIM???
    Please help me...

    1. Due to low marks in 10th & 12th chances of IIM calls is very less, still you can strive for best by scoring 99+ in cAT!
