IIM Indore Admission criteria 2016-18 for the Post Graduate Program in Management: IIM-I Selection Criteria 2016 - 2018

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT INDORE (IIMI) has announced the selection criteria for 2016-18 various MBA programs (Post-graduate Programmes in Management).

IIM Indore will adopt a three-stage selection process (i) Eligibility criteria (ii) Shortlist for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) (iii) Final Selection. 

IIM Indore conducts admission interviews in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Mumbai, and New Delhi only. However, IIM Indore reserves the right to change the centres at any time if the situation so warrants

(i) Eligibility criteria

(ii) Shortlist for Written Ability Test(WAT), Personal Interview(PI)

(iii) Final Selection

  1. i have got 79.4% in 10 and 78% in 12 and m in top engineering cllg of india...so wat z the probability to get calls from iimc,iimi and how much score z perfect to get confirm call frm iims

    1. Dear Garima,

      I will say You have decent chances of getting calls from IIMs. Irrespective of your academics CAT score on which IIM call could be expected in 99+ with consistent score across sections. Try to score high in your graduation as well as merely being part of top colleges doesn't add much value if your marks are not good.

  2. 0th-96% (from West-Bengal Board and had been one of the top 100 students in State)and in best of 5 subjects-97%
    12 th-88.1% (from West-Bengal Board and had been one of the top 100 students in State) and in best of 4-94.25%




    College- St.Xavier's College(Kolkata)(One of the top 10 colleges in India for Arts ,Science and Commerce listed by India Today Survey for so many years)
    Graduation Stream-Statistics Honours(Incomplete)
    Graduation Percentage-57.3(Till 4 th Semester)Equivalent CGPA-6.32/10

    Final Year Student and freshers!

    Extra-Acds=a pretty decent extra curriculam activities starting from School to College life in recitation,drawing,college fest organization and Participated various college events(Including IITs)...etc!
    Campus Ambassador at IIT Kharagpur.
    District Champion in recitation during school and got many other prizes in recitation.

  4. Hi Sir,
    I am currently working in MNC.I have decided to take 2-3 years of experience and then appear for MBA.My financial conditions are not good.I did my engg based on scholorship b'coz i belongs to backward class(NT-2) considering 2-3 years of experience and assuming i may secure 99% in CAT and my past acasemic score.SSC-67,HSC-75 will i get admission in decent college?will i get in FMS delhi? any IIM?

    1. Dear Mahesh,

      How much reservation is there for NT-2 category in IIMs, is it 3.5% reserved only for NT-2 candidates or is it considered as part of OBC category. In case you have 3.5% reservation and there is not much competition in NT-2 category, then I will say rather than waiting for 2-3 year you should plan to attempt CAT in 2013.
      Prepare well and give it a try, with the reservation and work experience if you score well in CAT you may get through top colleges including IIMs.
      Also do not worry about college fees as you would easily manage to get education loan.

    my scores in
    10 -64%
    12-62%
    Grad(Biotechnology)- 6.43/10 as par univ but if i look by % it is 75+
    I have Work Exp of 2+ in an MNC.
    Its my dream to be an IIM graduate. Kindly suggest what are the possibilities.
    I am preparing for 2014. Also suggest what are the possibilities if i should go for Executive MBA after 3+work experience.
